1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by Pure Cleaning Services (“the Company”) to its clients. By booking a service, the client agrees to these terms.
2. Services Provided
• Residential cleaning
• Commercial cleaning
• Specialised cleaning (carpet, upholstery, windows, etc.)
• End-of-tenancy cleaning
3. Booking and Cancellation Policy
• Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
• Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the booking cost.
• The Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule bookings due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases:
• If a deposit has been paid, the Company will strive to meet its obligations within the required timeframe to complete the service.
• If rescheduling is not feasible, a full refund of the deposit will be provided.
4. Payment Terms
• Payment is due immediately upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Accepted payment methods: cash, bank transfer, or card payments.
• Late payments will incur a 5% late fee for every 7 days overdue.
• For recurring contracts, invoices will be issued monthly with payment due within 7 days.
5. Client Obligations
• The client must provide access to the premises at the agreed-upon time.
• The client must remove any valuable or fragile items before cleaning begins.
• Pets must be secured during cleaning to ensure the safety of both staff and animals.
6. Use of Photographs
• The Company may take “before” and “after” photographs of the cleaned areas for quality assurance and training purposes.
• Photographs will not include any personal items, identifying details, or confidential information.
• The Company may use such images for promotional purposes (e.g., website, social media) only with the client’s prior written or verbal consent.
• If the client does not wish to have photographs taken or used, they must notify the Company in writing before the service begins.
7. Liability and Insurance
• The Company holds public liability insurance but is not responsible for:
• Pre-existing damage
• Items left unsecured by the client
• Damages caused due to improper maintenance of surfaces by the client
• Any damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.
8. Health and Safety
• Cleaners will follow all health and safety guidelines.
• Hazardous conditions must be disclosed by the client prior to service.
• The Company reserves the right to refuse service in unsafe environments.
9. Satisfaction Guarantee
• If the client is dissatisfied with the service, they must report issues within 24 hours.
• The Company will arrange a re-clean if deemed appropriate.
10. Confidentiality
• All client information will be kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties.
11. Termination of Service
• Either party may terminate an ongoing service contract with 14 days’ written notice.
• The Company reserves the right to terminate services due to repeated late payments or inappropriate behaviour.
12. Refunds and Rescheduling Policy (for Deposit Payments)
• In the event the Company must cancel a service after receiving a deposit, the following will apply:
• The Company will strive to reschedule the service and fulfil its obligations within a reasonable timeframe.
• If rescheduling is not possible, the Company will issue a full refund of the deposit to the client.
13. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of West Sussex.
